Buat yg di Bandung, ada yg tau resto ini ?

Tempatnya di gedung tambahan di belakang gedung Soes Merdeka, pas tengah2 blok banget, seberangnya pujasera Merdeka. bisa di akses dari jalan Merdeka depan BIP, atau dari belakang deket parkiran luar BEC.

Baru makan bberapa kali di sono, tapi so far PUAS !! herannya kok sepi?

Kalo liat dari menunya, dia sepertinya Steak Obonk yg merger dengan entah siapa sehingga menu nya jadi jauh lebih bervariasi.
Salutnya itu, menu2 paket dia gak asal pasangin. Tapi pas banget ! Misalnya menu mie hot plate saus BBQ-nya, pasangannya es jeruk soda (ice)cream. Rasanya udah bukan maknyus lagi tapi maamooossssss !!! lidah lagi abis ngerasain super gurih terus diguyur yg manis2 bersoda aroma vanila... gyaaaaaaaaa !!!! !

Memang sih dari kualitas bahan bakunya standar aja. Gada nasi yg super liket dari beras super wangi pandan, cuma nasi dari beras biasa yg agak kering. Tapi masih oke2 aja kok di makan sama crispy chicken chunksnya. Bukan dari bahan bakunya yg bikin enak deh, tapi cara dia olah bahan bakunya dan memasangkan dng lauk2 lainnya.

Apalagi dengan harga mulai 15ribuan per paket, kenyang dan udah termasuk minum ice cappucino... hari gene gitu loh ?!?!?

Dngan pengalaman makan sememuaskan kayak gitu, tapi sepi. mungkin gara2 lokasinya yg masuk ke dalem, gak strategis pinggir jalan? Jangan sampe tutup >w<;; ayo guys, rame2 ke sana huehuehueheu.

Buat yg dari Jakarta, kalo ada yg maen ke skitaran BIP, cobain deh ke situ. Gotohel lah makanan 20rb-an di mall blum dapet minum !

[Estimasi] Bumi makin panas

Tahun 2040 : 2000 pulau tenggelam

Mungkin Anda menduga, udara yang akhir-akhir ini makin panas, bukanlah
suatu masalah yang perlu kita risaukan.

"Mana mungkin sih tindakan satu-dua makhluk hidup di jagat semesta bisa
mengganggu kondisi planet bumi yang mahabesar ini?" barangkali begitulah
Anda berpikir.

Baru-baru ini, Inter-governmental Panel on Cimate Change (IPCC)
mempublikasikan hasil pengamatan ilmuwan dari berbagai negara. Isinya
sangat mengejutkan. Selama tahun 1990-2005, ternyata telah terjadi
peningkatan suhu merata di seluruh
bagian bumi, antara 0,15 – 0,3o C. Jika peningkatan suhu itu terus
berlanjut, diperkirakan pada tahun 2040 (33 tahun dari sekarang) lapisan es
di kutub-kutub bumi akan habis meleleh. Dan jika bumi masih terus memanas,
pada tahun 2050 akan terjadi kekurangan air tawar, sehingga kelaparan pun
akan meluas di seantero jagat. Udara akan sangat panas, jutaan orang
berebut air dan makanan. Napas tersengal oleh asap dan debu. Rumah-rumah di
pesisir terendam air laut. Luapan air laut makin lama makin luas, sehingga
akhirnya menelan seluruh pulau. Harta benda akan lenyap, begitu pula nyawa
manusia.

Di Indonesia, gejala serupa sudah terjadi. Sepanjang tahun 1980-2002, suhu
minimum kota Polonia (Sumatera Utara) meningkat 0,17o C per tahun.
Sementara, Denpasar mengalami peningkatan suhu maksimum hingga 0,87 o C per
tahun. Tanda yang kasat mata adalah menghilangnya salju yang dulu
menyelimuti satu-satunya tempat bersalju di Indonesia , yaitu Gunung
Jayawijaya di Papua.

Hasil studi yang dilakukan ilmuwan di Pusat Pengembangan Kawasan Pesisir
dan Laut, Institut Teknologi Bandung (2007), pun tak kalah mengerikan.
Ternyata,  permukaan air laut Teluk Jakarta meningkat setinggi 0,8 cm. Jika
suhu bumi terus meningkat, maka diperkirakan, pada tahun 2050 daerah-daerah
di Jakarta (seperti : Kosambi, Penjaringan, dan Cilincing) dan Bekasi
(seperti : Muaragembong, Babelan, dan Tarumajaya) akan terendam semuanya.

Dengan adanya gejala ini, sebagai warga negara kepulauan, sudah seharusnya
kita khawatir. Pasalnya, pemanasan global mengancam kedaulatan negara. Es
yang meleleh di kutub-kutub mengalir ke laut lepas dan menyebabkan
permukaan laut bumi – termasuk laut di seputar Indonesia – terus meningkat.
Pulau-pulau kecil terluar kita bisa lenyap dari peta bumi, sehingga garis
kedaulatan negara bisa menyusut. Dan diperkirakan dalam 30 tahun mendatang
sekitar 2000 pulau di Indonesia akan tenggelam. Bukan hanya itu, jutaan
orang yang tinggal di pesisir pulau kecil pun akan kehilangan tempat
tinggal. Begitu pula asset-asset usaha wisata pantai.

Peneliti senior dari Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR),
menjelaskan, pemanasan global adalah kejadian terperangkapnya radiasi
gelombang panjang matahari (disebut juga gelombang panas / inframerah) yang
dipancarkan bumi oleh gas-gas rumah kaca (efek rumah kaca adalah istilah
untuk panas yang terperangkap di dalam atmosfer bumi dan tidak bisa
menyebar). Gas-gas ini secara alami terdapat di udara (atmosfer). Penipisan
lapisan ozon juga memperpanas suhu bumi. Karena, makin tipis
lapisan-lapisan teratas atmosfer, makin leluasa radiasi gelombang pendek
matahari (termasuk ultraviolet) memasuki bumi. Pada gilirannya,  radiasi
gelombang pendek ini juga berubah menjadi gelombang panas, sehingga kian
meningkatkan konsentrasi gas rumah kaca tadi.

Karbondioksida (CO2) adalah gas terbanyak (75%)
penyumbang emisi gas rumah kaca. Setiap kali kita menggunakan bahan bakar
fosil (minyak, bensin, gas alam, batubara) untuk keperluan rumah tangga,
mobil, pabrik, ataupun membakar hutan, otomatis kita melepaskan CO2 ke
udara. Gas lain yang juga masuk peringkat atas adalah metan (CH4,18%),
ozone (O3,12%), dan clorofluorocarbon (CFC,14%). Gas metan banyak
dihasilkan dari proses pembusukan materi organic seperti yang banyak
terjadi di peternakan sapi. Gas metan juga dihasilkan dari penggunaan BBM
untuk kendaraan. Sementara itu, emisi gas CFC banyak timbul dari sistem
kerja kulkas dan AC model lama. Bersama gas-gas lain, uap air ikut
meningkatkan suhu rumah kaca.

Gejala sangat kentara dari pemanasan global adalah berubahnya iklim.
Contohnya, hujan deras masih sering datang, meski kini kita sudah memasuki
bulan yang seharusnya sudah terhitung musim kemarau. Menurut perkiraan,
dalam 30 tahun terakhir, pergantian musim kemarau ke musim hujan terus
bergeser, dan kini jaraknya berselisih nyaris sebulan dari normal. Banyak
orang menganggap, banjir besar bulan Februari lalu yang merendam lebih dari
separuh DKI Jakarta adalah akibat dari pemanasan global saja. Padahal 35%
rusaknya hutan kota dan hutan di Puncak adalah penyebab makin panasnya
udara Jakarta . Itu sebabnya, kerusakan hutan di Indonesia bukan hanya
menjadi masalah warga Indonesia , melainkan juga warga dunia. Direktur
Eksekutif Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia (Walhi), mengatakan, Indonesia
pantas malu karena telah menjadi Negara terbesar ke-3 di dunia sebagai
penyumbang gas rumah kaca dari kebakaran hutan dan pembakaran lahan gambut
(yang diubah menjadi permukiman atau hutan industri). Jika kita tidak bisa
menyelamatkan mulai dari sekarang, 5 tahun lagi hutan di Sumatera akan
habis, 10 tahun lagi hutan Kalimantan yang habis, 15 tahun lagi hutan di
seluruh Indonesia tak tersisa. Di saat itu, anak-anak kita tak lagi bisa
menghirup udara bersih.

Jika kita tidak secepatnya berhenti boros energi, bumi akan sepanas planet
Mars. Tak akan ada satupun makhluk hidup yang bisa bertahan, termasuk
anak-anak kita nanti.

Cara-cara praktis dan sederhana 'mendinginkan' bumi :

1. Matikan listrik.
(jika tidak digunakan, jangan tinggalkan alat elektronik dalam keadaan
standby. Cabut charger telp. genggam dari stop kontak.
Meski listrik tak mengeluarkan emisi karbon, pembangkit listrik PLN
menggunakan bahan baker fosil penyumbang besar emisi).

2. Ganti bohlam lampu ke jenis CFL, sesuai daya listrik.
Meski harganya agak mahal, lampu ini lebih hemat listrik dan awet).

3. Bersihkan lampu (debu bisa mengurangi tingkat penerangan hingga 5%).

4. Jika terpaksa memakai AC....
Tutup pintu dan jendela selama AC menyala. Atur suhu sejuk secukupnya,
sekitar 21-24o C).

5. Gunakan timer (untuk AC, microwave, oven, magic jar, dll).

6. Alihkan panas limbah mesin AC
untuk mengoperasikan water-heater.

7. Tanam pohon di lingkungan sekitar Anda.

8. Jemur pakaian di luar.
Angin dan panas matahari lebih baik ketimbang memakai mesin (dryer) yang
banyak mengeluarkan emisi karbon.

9. Gunakan kendaraan umum (untuk mengurangi polusi udara).

10. Hemat penggunaan kertas (bahan bakunya berasal dari kayu).

11. Say no to plastic.
Hampir semua sampah plastic menghasilkan gas berbahaya ketika dibakar. Atau
Anda juga dapat membantu mengumpulkannya untuk didaur ulang kembali.

12. Sebarkan berita ini kepada orang-orang di sekitar Anda, agar mereka
turut berperan serta dalam menyelamatkan bumi.

I find this topic become a polemic everywhere, and here at dA I've just read [link] -> an old *elsevilla's journal entry where he actually point out more of the difference between the illustrator and artist LOL, and I just ticked to write this as a reply to his journal : (i copy paste it here so i can share with you too ^^ however i'm more into the topic of digital medium vs traditional media)


I ever read someone wrote this somewhere (but i forgot where) and I agree with him ^^ I'd like to share it here since IMO there are still many who read this journal and reply to it, and might somehow read this perspective and find it enlightening.

So,
He said that digital is just another new and upcoming medium in the world of art. it's just like the airbrush in its epoch. The previous generation finds it weird just like alien comes to their world. many of them reject it, call it cheap and etc. there are also of them who accept it or even symbiote with it (if i could use the word that way).

anyway, every medium has its own advantages and troubles.
somehow, i find the best digital medium's advantage is that it could mimic the traditional media's characteristics with a lot quicker process. i mean LOT quicker. and that's how it gets so much popular this days. more and more illustrators who got in pinched of deadlines love this 'new' medium. (reflecting on my own experience )

but somehow, i think i need to underline the fact that digital medium mostly MIMIC traditional media. to create good stuff in digital media, you have to learn how to do it in its own real medium. or at least know and good with the basics (color harmony, anatomy, perspective and stuff, you name it) .

that way, i think it's pretty unfair to judge whether digital will substitute everything and stand on all of media. it might become most popular but can not substitute anything. it's just different ^^ there are stuffs digital can do and not, so do other media.

above all of that media chitty chatty, i agree that it all comes back to the monkey behind the medium to create great works ^^. (of course i mean 'the man' not 'the monkey' :-P )

just my 2 cents.

i hope this can give another perspective to you who matter about which is good  and/or evil, and about who will be the last man standing.
it's just so not important do the best what u can do on your best medium. impress the world, surprise the world. create history ! GO FOR IT ! (suddenly i got excited on my own XD )

1) I'm not a multitasking-able person. I must focus on one job to get it well done before move to another one.

10. i usually sketch on used scrap papers.

09. my style often differs from one to another, but still they have the same messiness.

08. i've sticked to pencil media the most of my art life, so i think it's the media i most mastered at.

07. long time ago, i couldn't draw any female at all, then i kept drawing them until i could. by the time i could, i forgot how to draw male >_>;; then i reversed the process.

06. i used not to have much money to but art supplies. so i had to improvise with cheap ones like "snowman" branded marker, or "pentel" mechanic pencil leads and "staedler" erasers (before i changed to "boxy" ones)

05. i think the good point of my works or characters is their liveliness. i like to make them not stiff, not only cool but ... euh, what is 'luwes' in english ? >_>;;

04. i dislike my drawings when i don't have any purpose at all on them. you know, when they have no meaning ?

03. sometime, i can wait for quite long time until i get the clear image of what i want to draw or color and in the while i don't draw at all.

02. i treat my characters as my children. my creation, living in the media. i give them the breath of life. they take part of me to become real and alive. insane eh ? O_O

01. my skill is not a gift. i trained it hard. so, it could blanch away if i stopped using it XP~ no matter how i make my hands remember, it's not there, never been a part of them since in the beginning, sigh...

Yea ! It was about 00:02 AM (GMT +7) approx. The earthquake was going on for about 2-3 minutes I think.
And I was standing in front of the TV, stucked in my way to the toilet for "Fortress 2 : Re-Entry" when I suddenly lost my balance and felt like going to fall ! I thought I was sick and reflex balancing myself up when suddenly my dad got up from his sofa and ask, "Earthquake ! ... Isn't it ?" Then my bro showed up and asked the same thing !

That time I tried to stand still and feel the tremor, I turned my head and looked at the mineral water galon/tank. The water inside was shaking, waving big and bobbling ! Even it made some sound ! Wow ! I even heard that some of the house structure was cracking a bit I wondered whether it would be ok. My bro walked out of the house checking the neighborhood while my dad went to the bedroom and told my mom that there was an earthquake happening. It felt like I was standing on a sailing ferry boat ! it swayed really hard ! "Oh, great ! This the first time I ever experience such a big earthquake !" "Is it going to be a tsunami ?? Will it reach Bandung, here the city in the middle of the island  ? No way !!!", I thought.

Not for long, ~fegan called me to confirm the earthquake happened. After I put off the call, I went out the house too catching my bro and dad outside. After a while, I went back to check the water tank. The water still rippled a bit but it was already cooling down. I saw my watch and it told me it was 00:07 AM

Phew, I thought then the newspaper company gotta call back their employees to change the headline for the newspaper on the morning edition ! ;;
So, that's all the information I have now. I shall get more infos in the morning XP~

It was that strange vertical cloud on the sky thingie !

7,5 Richter scale !!! OoO;;; well, of course it's not totally 7,5 SR when it got to Bandung XP it was only at the epicentrum. but still it was the hardest shakes i ever experienced.

Precautions to be Taken During an Earthquake

   1. If you are indoors during an earthquake, drop, cover, and hold on. Get under a desk, table or bench. Hold on to one of the legs and cover your eyes. If there's no table or desk nearby, sit down against an interior wall. An interior wall is less likely to collapse than a wall on the outside shell of the building.
   2. Pick a safe place where things will not fall on you, away from windows, bookcases, or tall, heavy furniture.
   3. It is dangerous to run outside when an earthquake happens because bricks, roofing, and other materials may fall from buildings during and immediately following earthquakes, injuring persons near the building.
   4. Wait in your safe place until the shaking stops, then check to see if you are hurt. You will be better able to help others if you take care of yourself first, then check the people around you.
   5. Move carefully and watch out for things that have fallen or broken, creating hazards. Be ready for additional earthquakes called "aftershocks."
   6. Be on the lookout for fires. Fire is the most common earthquake related hazard, due to broken gas lines, damaged electrical lines or appliances, and previously contained fires or sparks being released.
   7. If you must leave a building after the shaking stops, use the stairs, not the elevator. Earthquakes can cause fire alarms and fire sprinklers to go off. You will not be certain whether there is a real threat of fire. As a precaution, use the stairs.
   8. If you are outside in an earthquake, stay outside. Move away from buildings, trees, streetlights, and power lines. Crouch down and cover your head. Many injuries occur within 10 feet of the entrance to buildings. Bricks, roofing, and other materials can fall from buildings, injuring persons nearby. Trees, streetlights, and power lines may also fall, causing damage or injury.
   9. Assemble a Disaster Supplies Kit. Please see the "Disaster Supplies Kit" section for general supplies kit information.
  10. Earthquake-specific supplies should include the following: A flashlight and sturdy shoes by each person's bedside; Disaster Supplies Kit; and an Evacuation Supply Kit.

I got puppies for my birthday present !!!
Righhhtttttt.... puppiessss ! I got 2 puppies, not just one !

one male and one female, and i don't know what breed they are XD;;;;
they are completely over mixed breed, i can't recognize XwX;;;

the male one looks like a saint bernard-sumthing and the female one looks like... hmm... ?_? i dunno... some rural local breed... (kamphung)
and what is really funny was my friends who bought them told me about the story when they were negotiating with the seller. He said that the male one is Beethoven and the female is collie. God sake !! Did he even know what a collie look like ??? XD;;; Not even a hunch it looks like COLLIE !!! My friends were laughing at the seller's bullshit, but anyway they decided to buy her for me and then tried to convince me that she is a collie (while laughing out) XD;;

Oh boy, now i have another two heads to feed... O_O;;;; my mom doesn't really like pets so i gotta let them stay at the studio houhouhou XD;;;
anddd... it also means more cost, can't re..sist.. must... get.. more.. incomeeeeee..... T_T;;;

And then about the names ! Righttttt....
The first time I saw the his face... hmm, i gotta name him with sumthing started with 'B'.... some names came out but the one I picked wasssss.... taraaa...

anyway i haven't sure with the female's one. but her face is so asian i want to give her a chinese name =_=...

no, not avian flu, it's just the damn usual, but since i hate pills i guess it takes more time to recover... it's been 4 days i couldn't really do anything but watching Spongebob on the tv *wooottt the heee-?*. Yaayy, now i've found that the spongebob is good... nickelodeon rocks! really, praise Spongebobbb and Patrick too ! O_O I mean it.

I put off all the drawing works.. i can't focus, my head starts to spin whenever i try to concentrate. 4 days ! and it doesn't like getting better much.... reading 1 comic book a day and i get tired already... woootttt?? i usually could read 6 a day and for the record i read 10 a dayyy....

well, okay i thought i actually felt better the day before yesterday...T_T but hey, my mom came in and "jun, why don't you eat up this martabak *note : for not indo ppl: it's a kind of cake which baked rreaaally hot, lots of butter and sugaarrr* i bought yesterday?" i looked at those yummy pieces and said to myself "hmm, maybe i could eat some since i'm feeling better today and it's from yesterday so they got to be less hot" and i ate some, and that was stoooopidddd....!!! the flu got a friend, a cough T___________T## my throat burnssss...yo ppl, here's the lesson : never underestimate anything ! not even a yummy delicious looking cake !

Hmm, been a while i guess...>_>;;

to be honest, the last 2 weeks were quite tight.. 2 conventions in a row XP

but gladly i met new friends and contacts ^_^ such treasure

and... as i've promised, i'm gonna tell ya bout the result of the comic contest i entered, which previews i've submitted to DA (the WayangOnline) ... so, the result was..
i... was disqualified, since i forgot to print the sinopsis in the CD -_-;; they didn't bother to check the CD but only the prints, so they thought that i wasn't paying attention to the submission completion..>_>;; sigh..

but then, there were some people who acknowledge my works then became some of my clients ^_^ that's the good news i guess
